Here is one man’s experience with the Anabolic Diet.

Anabolic Strong Pistachio Cream Shake

  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp. Jello Sugar Free Pistachio Pudding
  • 1 tbsp. Splenda
  • 1 ts.p of regular creatine (cheap brand such as Body Fortress)
  • 1-2 scoops of protein powder
  • A few Pistachios (optional)
  • 4-5 ice cubes for texture and thickness

Frustrated With My Homedics Scale

Before I started the Anabolic Diet + Body For Life contest I went out and purchased a Homedics body fat scale for $30 dollars.  I punched in my height, age, gender and whether I am an athlete or not.  After all of this I hopped on the scale and it said I had 9% body fat.  I looked in the mirror and quickly realized something was wrong.  I concluded that I wasn’t an athlete and changed the scale accordingly.  Now the scale said I had 23.70% body fat.  Wo!  I just increased 14.70% in body fat!

I don’t have a problem believing that I am 23.70% body fat.  What I wonder about is the consistency of the scale.  Usually when I step on the scale I am 32% body fat.  After stepping on it 5 or 6 times in a row my body fat begins to drop.  This scale programs for gender also, so I thought I would see what my body fat was on my wife’s setting.  I was 39% body fat!  I am glad I am not a woman. ;)
